Huntington Estate Special Reserve Chardonnay 2019

There's something about these Huntington Estate Chardonnays which I just love. Perhaps they are a mirror of their maker? Big presence but gentle with a warm heart and cutting some swagger in those red Converse.

Lovely width here. A gentle push to each corner of the mouth. Gentle ripples of fruit reach out for an embrace. Butterscotch and Jersey caramel like feels early. Soft barbecued nectarine, vanilla cream is painted on with a fine textural feel - wonderful complexity. Time in the glass and Kaffir limes seep through its pores with touches of raw cashews. A gentle citrusy tang lingers beautifully.

Lap it up as the 2020 vintage is non-existent due to bushfire smoke suffocating the vineyard and the decision made to drop all fruit to the ground and not one bunch processed.

Drink to six years+
