Pretty in the glass with a pale pink salmon kiss, here's a tight and focused Pinot Grigio from the Yarra Valley.
A quick taste and I get the sense it has been knocked into shape with a set square. It feels quite structured. Perhaps I was expecting more curves?
Picked and pressed to a combination of stainless and oak, there's some textural appeal evident from the latter.
A gentle hum of cinnamon spice is ribbed throughout. Apples come across bright and crisp before finishing tart with a chalky like finish. A really enjoyable drink - you can't complain about the value presented.
Drink now to three years.
