Chardonnay from the Hilltops.
I can see where this wine wants to go but it just doesn't have the stamina to get there. Good fruit featuring summer melons and white stonefruit plus lemony tang lingers on the finish. The acid and fruit seem at odds and the left-hand doesn't talk to the right as much as it should. Softer acidity would complement the soft fruit.
Drink now to three years.
