Chardonnay from Orange ticking the boxes. A neat package with delicate fruit oozing easy drinking.
100% barrel fermented in a mix of 1-4 year old French oak and left on lees for 8 months.
There's a beauty flow about this wine and ample fruit to appease. Whiffs of lemon zest and old school lemonade, creme brulee and white peach. Medium bodied, time on lees has added a lovely texture which sits right in the slot of the pleasure zone. Barbecued peach is flanked by a vanilla creme - enough to be seen but soft enough to tease. Grapefruit acidity hums along lingering long. Smart wine. Well made Liz Jackson.
Drink now to six years.
