Winemaker Graeme Shaw is intent on ensuring the quality of Canberra Merlot is not overlooked. With a great 2013 vintage, this follow up 2014 is an enjoyable drink.
Dripping in blackberry fruit, touches of cigar box and some clove ride on the flank taking an easy ride. It's glossy with volume and energy here too. Oak protrudes a little but soft spices roll on in a relaxed manner. Good stuff.
Drink now to eight years.
