Solid Hunter Valley Shiraz from a challenging vintage.
Whiffs of milk chocolate, clove, camphor and cedar, mocha and coffeed oak. Red plum fruit steps up with more time int he glass as does a whiff of spice cupboard which starts seeping through.
A lick of menthol sits on the side of medium bodied fruit with an earthy kick. A fine spice finish has the last day - an enjoyable wine all up.
Drink now to five years.
