A much more enjoyable wine than the 2015 edition. The finer detail here is obvious.
The makeup is a slight change to 2015 too - 57/37/6.
Still some spice kicking on but the body has more attractive appeal. Red berry fruits tick along nicely with flecks of earthiness too. The mouth is coated consistently with a fine spray of peppery spice to close. Good stuff.
Drink now to five years.
