The sophistication that comes from this vineyard strides forward once more.
A lip-smacking opening rolls out the welcome mat. Smoked meats, char and undergrowth go about their work. 20% whole bunches were used and 10% new oak, there's not as much tension as previous releases. Red fruits in the form of raspberries and cherries fall into your lap bound by meaty spices and fine pepper. A delicate earthiness pushes through with soft tannins sitting long on a fine yet persistent finish. Beautiful.
