Made by all the ladies at Oliver's Taranga, hence the name 'Chica'. This is a great excuse to enjoy a long lunch in the sunshine.
Back to the glory of the 2018 release, the last couple of vintages have been a step or two back. Walk tall with this 2021 as dried red fruits, blueberries and dried thyme deliver a dry and savoury wine with a gentle textural grip. Some good fruit presence ticks away with a lick of spice and good acidity to frame the palate. An enjoyable wine made better by good company.
