Delinquente Wine Co Roxanne Razor NDM 2017

"A great Nero year," Con-Greg Grigoriou tells me proudly. I get a sense that he has a soft spot for this wine and the variety itself.

Picked slightly under ripe, Con-Greg assures me it was varietally correct.

Action a plenty here - sour cherry, cola, flirtatious herbal nuances and a whisper of tannin. There's plenty of depth early with a neat pomegranate touch keeping its cards close to its chest. 10% Montepulciano was blended in too. Con-Greg goes on to talk about an iodine character - I can see where he is going with that. The wine softens a treat. Supple and ridiculously moreish.

Drink now to three years.
