The Natural Wine Co. is a collective of wine community professionals who initially banded together to fill a niche for an organic, preservative free, fruit driven Shiraz. Since 2014, the range has now increased to include a Sauvignon Blanc, Rosé and Shiraz.
Made from free-run Sangiovese juice and fermented with wild yeast, the end result was fined with vegan-friendly agents prior to bottling.
Rose gold in appearance, red currant and strawberry aromas kick things off with a touch of manderin peel.
Soft red fruit glides through the mouth. A gentle shimmer of spice rustles its way through the mid-palate. Creamy texture adds interest leaning itself be a solid partner for a range of food. The fruit thins out a little but that could be forgiven for what is delivered prior.
