A sublime rendition of the old Bordeaux blend classic.
Super soft and silky, this just waltzes through the mouth with absolute ease. All varietal characters step forward but the presence of roasted peppers seems to wrestle all before it to sit atop the podium. Black fruits, cassis, some earthiness and milk chocolate all play a neat part. It's flush through the mouth and gorgeously fine with cocoa and black tea-like tannins to close.
Over a few days, it certainly softened and demonstrated more of its pretty persona - gorgeous really. Aging will certainly be its friend.
