Berton Vineyards have a knack of producing respectable wines at good prices. This Chardonnay is no different.
A swirl and a sniff and the freshness of the fruit cannot be disputed. Lemon juice and white necatrine driven, the acid and fruit walk side by side delivering a most pleasurable drink. Some nougat and fine spices to close with a lemony sherbet tang. An extra point added because it kept growing on me.
Drink now to five years.
