A very tidy Riesling to arm yourself with when the bell rings for aperitivo hour.
I enjoyed this in the garden at the Kinross Cellar Door which doubles as cellar door for a few smaller producers.
Soaking up the last rays of sunshine for the day, 9.8 grams of residual sugar is balanced nicely. Jasmine flowers, crunchy green apple and chalky feels are the main players. The sweetness and acid is balanced well as they both wrestle for the upper hand. Cleansing and fresh to close, tick.
Drink now to embrace the freshness but this will live long.
