Despite its age, it comes across quite raw. It's a leafy Cabernet with those savoury nuances shining brighter than the dark berries and fruit. Blackcurrant leaf, tomato bush and paste plus some purple flowers aromas all trickle from the glass. There's a clenched fist presence though, perhaps more time will see this ease up? Firmish dusty tannins to close. A piece of protein by its side would help.
