Bright and light in appearance, a simple Shiraz.
Sour red cherries and that sour plum jam I remember my grandmother enjoyed. Has a whiff of clay too. Light in the mouth without much depth nor much personality to speak of. It thins out too quickly for my liking sitting on the lighter side of medium bodied. There's a clip of pepper hanging on for dear life only preceded by a touch of licorice but it's all done and dusted by then.
Meerea Park produce better than this.
Drink now to three years.
