Clare Valley Cabernet smashing out a neat drum beat here. Great drinking. This Tregea Reserve is only made in exceptional years.
Bold but with a juicy underlay. Quite fresh for a five year old - long term cellaring won't be an issue.
Scents of choc mint, leather and black fruits. Those black fruits run riot in the mouth taking charge from pillar to post. Tannins are weighty but juicy at the same time. Delivered with poise, there's an elegance that matches the depth beautifully. Roast lamb and this will be great friends.
Drink now to ten years plus.
