I was impressed by the 2015 debut of this new range last year. This 2016 is another step up. Impressive Hunter Chardonnay.
Yellow stone fruits strut their way to the front with neat support roles played by grapefruit and a citrus drive. A delicate creaminess from the oak ticks away in the background with some vanillin and nougat. Generous and long with a lemony tang to finish, Chardonnay fans will enjoy this. I sure did.
Drink now to eight years.
