Always a solid return on this 'red stripe' classic. This 2014 is no different.
There's more weight in the belly than the aromas would suggest. It smells a bit jammy. Blackberries, cherry tomato, raspberries and red licorice. Down the hatch and it's firm with bitumen, black earth, shaved pencil and puckering dryness. Tannins are firm and dusty holding their shape pasted across the tongue. Give it a good breath of air - slabs of meat will eat this up.
Drink now to eight years.
