Pinot Grigio with a little colour! You have my attention. That slight copper appearance has me snapping my fingers. More like this, please.
Soumah have 6 acres of Pinot Grigio plantings with two clones in the ground.
Pears and spiced pears cut to the chase immediately. Wonderfully textural due to lees stirring, it only spends time in stainless steel. Some quince paste, figs and a flash of golden apple add further interest. The finish drives long and the fine spices gain bonus points for their persistence. Once again from Soumah, this is a quality wine that is right in the slot.
Drink to three years.
