An easy drinking Chardonnay but it's one of those wines where I found the aromas more enticing and vibrant than the flavour profile.
There's much to unpack with scents of yellow peach, golden apple, lemon zest, green melon and some pastry. But take a sip and it's quite muted. 50% sees oak on light lees for 12 months. Some white fleshed stone fruit makes a play and there is a thin veil of persistent cinnamon spice on close to consider, but it just seems all a bit ho-hum after an excitable introduction.
Drink now to three years.
