Sleek and pure, this is a superb Riesling from Orange, NSW. This was my first introduction to Colmar Estate and I hope it isn't the last. What a stunning beacon of deliciousness!
The word 'delicate' kept reverberating as I tasted this. Its class shone all the way through to the fine-boned acidity. With a delicate minerality also a feature, think cut green apples, limes and lemon sherbet that all fold into one another with absolute harmony. Some flirtatious chalky tannins ride long but it takes one last twist with a lemon meringue tang that urges another sip. Big love! Brilliant!
