Mataro and Shiraz are a killer combo when done well! Silky with some muscle, gimme it all!
The earthiness of the Mataro rings true. Silty and dusty tannins tack themselves onto berry pie, blackberries and dark plums. Savoury driven, licorice, dark chocolate, dried herbs, pan juices and woodsy spices, roasts and steaks are right in the zone with this in the glass. The depth is measured and the finish plays the long game. Cool nights are coming and this would be a more than welcome weapon of choice. Given the asking price, yo're doing very well here. Classy gear.
