There is more polish to this Percival Norman Shiraz from Corryton Burge compared to its entry-level sibling, keeping in mind they are from different vintages.
The aging potential is clear with the tannin structure is more serious and focused. Drying and puckering, it's worth tucking away for a few years yet. For now, dark plums and berries are all the rage. Dried thyme and sage partner a good helping of dark chocolate. Black pepper and some baking spices combine with a little cedar - that time in oak does enough to raise its hand. Mouth-sapping dryness leaves you puckering for more. Good stuff.
