This is a nice drink but when you're spending 45 bucks I suppose you want a little more than nice.
And to be honest, I don't particularly like the word "nice", it's quite beige. But hey, people like it and I'd hate to rub the suede of society the wrong way...
Blackberry pie, Ribena, tomato paste and dried oregano. It shows plenty of varietal interest but it's quite ho-hum about its carry. Wallet leather, cigar box, dried mint and earthiness come with the territory and it shows its ability to age over a few days of tasting.
