There's a softness and silky presence to this Hill-Smith Estate Chardonnay from the Eden Valley. It's a good drink for 25 bucks.
A bit is going on here as it calmly moves about. I like its humility and approachability - it's easy to enjoy a glass, that's for sure. Spiced green apple, white-fleshed peaches, canned pear and old school lemonade are among the highlights. Some delicate vanilla and Nice biscuit creaminess adds further interest. Well done for this easy-drinking Chardonnay.
Drink to three years.
