Ballandean Estate Wild Ferment GFM 2023

The Puglisi family, the iconic name behind Ballandean Estate and the Queensland Wine Industry, embraces all things family, and this Wild Frement GFM is just like an Italian family gathering in a bottle. A diverse range of grapes come together in unison.

A blend of Muscat Giallo, Fiano and Malvasia, the fruit was fermented with wild yeast and separate portions saw time in barrel before blending.

An aromatic and pretty wine on the nose, scents of musk and rose water offer an uplifting introduction. Some purple flower aromas aren't too far from the action as white fleshed stonefruit, canned pears plus a little tropical delight in the form of passionfruit slide in. Layers of fine spices unfurl, it's quite beautiful really. Lees stirring brings an ever so fine creaminess with it before white pepper, cinnamon and fruit bun like spices reach long. Very long. It's a tidy wine and one that would match Asian dishes with ease.

Drink now.
