I was patient with this Pinot, but however much I tried, I still found it a struggle to wrap my arms around it. I preferred its cheaper sibling to be honest.
Quite spicy and on the dark fruit spectrum, firm tannins are bordered by tart red apple acidity. That bitey acid and almost a prickly feel in the mouth takes the focus away from the good sweet and sour like fruit which comes prior. Perhaps time will be its friend?
