An enjoyable Hunter Valley Chardonnay. Sourced from the younger blocks, the average vine age contributing to this wine is 35 years.
The wine saw ten months in oak with a portion remaining in stainless steel. Some tension evident, dehydrated stonefruit, barley, raw nuts and slashes of lemon all add appeal. Textural feels creep up and stick on a long and moreish finish. Good stuff all up.
Drink now to six years.
