Hastwell and Lightfoot Tempranillo 2017

Throw some tapas, pizza, pasta or even a burger at this and you're in business. Good gear indeed.

A splash of Grenache was added to the ferment before seeing 18 months in oak.

Scents of charred steak move to spiced plums and berries. It's a wine with pleasing depth. Dusty and drying tannins round it off nicely. Tempranillo well worth checking out.

Drink now to five years.
