Stick your nose in the glass and it is clear from the outset that this is a serious wine. Superb for the money, and in my opinion, the best value of all Andrew Thomas' Shiraz releases.
Dark plums, flashes of blackberries and handfuls of blueberries too. Scents of purple flowers add further interest. The more I go back the more the blueberries continue to stand tall. Beautifully medium bodied, this just purs. The palate is coated with luscious fruit and laced with gorgeously fine spices lingering long and urging another sip. It'll be even better with some more bottle age - a great Hunter Shiraz.
