Winemaker Matt Harrop says the 2017 vintage was a year of moderates. Warm days and cool nights delivered steady (perfect) ripening conditions. This Chardonnay is a great reflection of that - it's in the zone deluxe.
There's a salivating tension about this wine. A neat flow of grapefruit and touches of lemon ride on the coattails of vanilla and cream. Aromas of struck match and match sticks add levels of intrigue. Fleshy stonefruit forge their way forward, too, with a minerally backbone. It's deliciously balanced and one a Chardonnay lover will just embrace. Go here.
