Just beautiful. What a cracking Pinot Gris this is, and I must admit, it's one of the best I've had for some time.
It's varietal and so approachable and comes from the Mornington Peninsula where Pinot Gris just hums when done well. The pear fruit glistens in the mouth and is preceded by a fabulous perfume highlighted by a dash of musk. Clean and crisp, soft spices linger with a squeeze of lemon juice on close. Food friendly or just for an afternoon sundowner on the deck, if you are a lover of the variety you ought to run to this.
Drink to three years.
