One whiff and this is very Cabernet. Roasted peppers, blackcurrants and some dried herbs all race for your attention.
A little tense, some pan juices add depth with drying, sapping tannins riding long. A wine that needs food by its side, it's the type you'd see in a range of restaurants/pubs and you won't be disappointed with this in the glass beside a steak or the roast of the day.
