If aged Riesling is your thing, surely Patrick is already on your radar. Time and time again they produce the goods and this 2014 aged release is no different. Hitting the shelves with eight years bottle age, there is still a long future ahead of this excellent wine.
Toasty and citrus aromas slowly rise up from the glass. Key lime pie, lemon curd and citrus blossom all want a piece of the action too. Wonderfully balanced, the acid knocks all into shape. The toasty and citrus theme flows through the mouth. Add a lick of honeyed tones to the long and moreish finish and you have something pretty special to savour. Bravo!
