This is a beauty and just gets better and better. I thought it was on fire on day two of tasting but it continued to impress as time went on. Get around this fabulous Single Vineyard Barossa Shiraz.
The colour leaps out and catches the eye immediately. Some cedar and vanilla partner with the generous dark berry fruit. The Fromm vineyard sits at the south end of the Barossa at Williamstown, tip-toeing the Adelaide Hills GI border. The vineyards that far south have plenty of clay soils and that can be seen in the tannins that slide through. Soft, exotic spices unfurl but the presence and mouthfeel are luxurious. The density yet silky feels stand out. It's a great drink now but will continue to improve in the long term.
