It's been a while since I've seen a Billi Billi Shiraz. The last time was at a wedding many years ago. Classic function centre wine, this is reliable and is quite the bargain for 20 bucks.
Blue and red fruits swarm early with lashings of oak. Spicy with cracked pepper leading the charge, blackberries build momentum the longer it sits. Char and a meatiness flank the edges making this a great food friendly wine. For the money, it seems to pay dividends time and again. All up, it's nicely done.
