What a great drink this is. It's rich, generous and loaded with interest. Monte Australian style smashing the brief.
Dark plums, red plums, dark chocolate and soft spices mingle - what a start. Wonderfully balanced, some blue fruits and boysenberries wriggle to the surface and stay the journey. Black earth and a leathery tone add some savoury appeal. A feathering of texture coats the palate leaving a dusty, perhaps chalky feel. I dig the vibrancy now but this will age beautifully for the medium term. It's very smart gear indeed.
