These Wild Game wines are proven to age well. Already with six years under its belt, this Dame Shiraz doesn't feel as though it's settled into its groove just yet.
Old leather lounge, church pew, blackcurrant paste, cedar, cigar box, hazelnuts - the characteristics of some bottle age are real. The oak still shows some muscle and there is no doubt there is plenty of life left in this number. A wine that grows on you and shows imminent humility, a decant will see it at its best after being locked up since 2018. A ripple of fine spices has the last word for a wine that seemingly wants to hold its cards close.
