The scents of whole bunch Grenache have lured me in from the get-go. A 60/26/14 blend, inviting savoury highlights of alpine spice, cedar, twigs and dried herbs muse with purple fruit and some blackcurrant paste hitting the scene late. Only 14% of the blend is Cabernet yet it consumes the fruit profile more than I would have thought and it leaves a lasting impression. Cut green herbs and green capsicum flank the charcuterie board meatiness with fine and lacy tannins reaching long. Throw this at some pizza and you'll be humming.
