The colour is not your typical Rosé but Brad Hickey doesn't do typical. He is all taste and feel with a liberal dose of texture. An off-dry Rosé from a blend of Mataro and Carignan, this is really tasty stuff.
Whole bunch fruit was pressed together and soaked overnight. Off-dry but the lick of sweetness is well handled. Mandarin peel, cranberries and red apple muse. Gloriously textural, shimmers of fine spice glide through. Persistent, red apple skin and tonic-like feels build fabulous lip-smacking appeal. Pour generously poolside with lamb and beef shashliks on the coals.
