Turkey Flat Rosé 2023

Why drink those imported Provence Rosés when you have sheer brilliance like this on your doorstep? This is a delicious, attractive and wonderfully moreish Rosé from Turkey Flat.

Winemaker Mark Bulman found the winning combination with this over a number of years but he has since departed handing the baton over to James Adams who has maintained the mojo. The Grenache fruit comes from multiple picks to build flavour and texture with a portion that sees old oak.

With an eye-catching appearance in the glass, waves of interest roll through. Red currants, strawberries, rhubarb plus a cheeky blood orange cameo all seek your attention. Bone dry, there is a flicker of dried herbs with a creamy white chocolate undertow. Wonderfully handled acidity brings a red apple crunch with it - yes! It's a wine that is easy to adore as that texture and length keep whispering to you and the line of acidity sizzles as it brings the mouth to water. At a price point that is hard to ignore, drink this brilliant Rosé folks.
