An intriguing and layered wine, this Rhone inspired Marsanne and Roussanne blend from Turkey Flat is a wonderful drink that nails the price point.
The fruit was whole bunch pressed, it saw skin contact and some new oak was used.
Swirl the glass to reveal Marigold flowers and white field flowers, honey puffs and fresh honeycomb. Yellow fleshed nectarines and peaches flood the mouth with a fine nuttiness and ginger bread spice humming along. It's a really tidy wine that rides the fruit and textural balance nicely. Well played.
