Glenguin Estate Schoolhouse Shiraz 2013

All the ducks line up, but it's a wine which just needs some X factor.

Cedar, baking spices, char and blackberries peel back from one another revealing a wine which is composed and considered. It's almost as though it's cautious as it flows through conscious not to ruffle any feathers. A long finish with touches of aniseed reaching out and grasping for dear life, refusing to release.

Decant for best results - it looked much better on day two of tasting.

Drink now to a decade+
