Jim Barry Watervale Riesling 2018
If you've never really dipped your toe into the ocean of beauty that is Riesling, here's a clever place to start. Often priced well below it's RRP, it's a ripping bargain and such a delicious wine.
Expressive aromas kick things off - citrus flower, bath powder, lime leaf and lemon juice. There's an unmistakable vibrancy in the mouth. Citrus fruit bounds along on its toes with a wonderful presence yet its delivery is almost effortless. Acid is pitched beautifully bringing the mouth to water. Go here, please do.
