The Old Faithful Cafe Block Shiraz 2013

This vineyard was planted in the 1950's with a popular cafe on one boundary, hence the name.

Sweet fruited early, dense and firm through the middle. Blackcurrant, mulberry fruit, cocoa and cedar - quite attractive really. Fine brick dust tannins coat the mouth with a pepper sprinkle finish. Delicious drinking. I'll have a steak to match please.

Drink now to ten years.
