Unfiltered and unfined, there's 65% whole bunch Shiraz here which saw 11 days on skins and nine months in French oak (29% new). 2900 produced.
Lean forward and embrace the funk. Red berries, pan juices, purple flower aromas. Dark berry fruit assume control in the mouth. And then Mulberry compote comes to mind - similar to the one my grandmother used to make. Coupled with blueberries, the mouth is filled with great width. Spices chime in late providing a more than satisfying finish. There's plenty of meat on the bones here yet enough elegance to bring sexy back. Well played Mr Papps.
