An easy-going entry-level Pinot Noir from Parker Estate. With some oomph to kick it along, it's on the denser side of the Pinot scale.
Mouthfilling, it's more about fruit than a savoury drive. Dark berries and plums seize control with some faint mintiness lurking. Peppery spices run long into the night but the weight can throw you given it's closer to a medium-bodied Syrah. Not out of place next to a steak, it does the job for the asking price.
Drink to five years.
