A powerful Shiraz from the northern Barossa.
I have noticed a bit more oak in the GAR and this Ebenezer compared to previous years.
Red fruit and plums are supported by deli meats and pan juices. Black tea and charcoal, the fruit thins out a little quicker than expected but the firm tannins keep some shape. Baking spices and fine black pepper see things through. In all, there is enough here to satisfy alongside roast beef.
Drink to five years.
