From an organically farmed vineyard, it sees twelve months in French oak. Dark cherries, cherry liqueur and dense plums build a profile of delight and depth flanked by baking spices and barbecue rub spices. Add layers of dark chocolate, passata and cured meats along with ripples of earthiness and you have a very neat package. The tannins are tense yet are framed perfectly for meaty dishes - it's just Tempranillo's DNA. Well played.
